About meI am a master's student in the Collins Lab in the Department of Zoology & Physiology at the University of Wyoming. I grew up in Fairbanks, AK and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Western Washington University in 2017. Since graduating, my research experiences have taken me from collecting monitoring data for NEON at Toolik Field Station on the north slope of Alaska, to exploring ecosystem processes affecting midge population dynamics in Lake Mývatn, Iceland, to measuring nutrient uptake in Arizona desert streams. I am primarily interested in ecosystem processes and trophic relationships in freshwater systems. Much of my experience has been in arctic and subarctic regions, which has fostered my interest in the impact of climate change on sensitive aquatic ecosystems.
